?1.can i write a rat in just c language
?2.how much will my a.d.d. effect learning this?
?3.is c in 21 days an effective method for learning c language?
C in 21 days help!!!!?
I figure if you really do have ADD and it's not treated, you'll be climbing a freaking mountain to actually write any real software. Software generally take a bit of concentration, even when you're away from the computer as far as design, code layout, and implementation goes. You can always write mediocre programs that do minor things, but so can kids.
Secondly, you can write ANYTHING in C, the question is how much time and effort are you willing to put in.
And third, you'll learn the basics, how to compile and run programs you write, but nothing that will get you on board writing professional software, that will take years. It's kind of like how you can learn to ride a bike in a couple weeks, but you wont be running in any races, and you wont be able to keep up with anyone. You'll need to dedicate way more time than 21 days.
Reply:I have ADD and I still got a very good understanding of C and C++ within 2 months, and thats learning at a slow-steady pace.
So yeah 21 days should give you a good ammount of time to get a good understanding of the language.
But i'd imagine it would take alot longer to master it.
Reply:I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination. But I image just like anything else, if you want to do it right, you'll take the time to learn it properly. I'm sure you could learn quite a bit about C in 21 days... I did, but it takes years to fully master.
Reply:c in 21 days is starting or basic of c not expert level, for became hacking many books availabel on internet or ethetical hacking cource are availabel that certified cource.

Reply:ADD will probably cripple you as a programmer. Programming and especially debugging requires intense concentration and good long term memory and even better short term memory.
Reply:In 1968 I was enrolled in a pilot program at Bradley Hospital for kids identified as having Hyperactivity (ADD in those days). Programming is one field where I've met a LOT of people who are ADD. Most are better than me in fact. ;-)
1. You can write ANYTHING in the C language if you have the knowledge.
2.On the other hand, I finally learned C when I went back to college at the age of 36, I learned Pascal first, and while college and a degree might not necessarily be what you need right now, I strongly recommend, especially if you have ADD, a structured approach such as a formal class. Ask around about what classes in introductory programming are available in your area, if you find one at a school and can't afford the credit, ask how much it costs to audit it, and learn whatever language they teach, don't take the class because it will teach you a specific language. C is not more elementary than C++. It's different but related, period. If you learn C++ you will learn a lot about programming in C, though you may not realize that that is what you are doing. It can be helpful to learn C as well as C++. It can be a distraction. The factors have nothing to do with C or C++: it's all about how well you are learning the discipline of programming.
3. I've owned C in 21 days for years. If you want to learn how to program in C, as opposed to learn how to program, it can be very effective. Just don't expect to absorb its lessons in 21 days: follow it at whatever pace feels right. If you want to be distracted for a few days, no big deal. Whatever language you choose to work with, you'll be learning for years anyhow.
